SEH French Construction has been trusted to complete an array of design and build projects. We have overseen projects from innovative and considerate design phases to stunning final products that are fit for purpose.
Design and build projects allow us to employ our expertise in designing buildings that meet the needs of their end users. Having supervised the design phase, our experienced and efficient construction team are later able to deliver projects with an understanding of their true purpose and intentions.
Our design and build projects have spanned multiple sectors, including education, residential and commercial. SEH French Construction’s build-only projects in such sectors, such as our construction of a new library at Newmarket Academy, provide our design teams with perfect reference points that they can use to find solutions, offer innovations and amaze clients.
Our previous work in this field includes the Withersfield Road project in Suffolk. The plans to construct 27 new residential dwellings were made while considering that they were intended for over 50s and some less-able residents. Each apartment block included a communal area to help residents socialise, while a new pedestrian and vehicular bridge aided access into the new development. The new buildings also featured green roof systems which reduced the impact on neighbouring properties.
Conversely, working on an extension rather than a new build, our work at Framlingham College in Suffolk focused on designing a positive infill that concealed poorly contrasting brickwork while protecting the historic fabric of the existing building. Glazed curtain walling, traditional stonework and fair face brickwork were features of an intentional design which effectively complemented the Grade II listed building.
Whatever the size, sector or intended uses of your project may be, SEH French Construction has the creativity and awareness needed to inspire its end users alongside construction expertise that will turn blueprints into remarkable and purposeful new buildings.
