SEH French announce exciting new college partnership

SEH French are excited to announce a partnership with Suffolk New College to help develop the next generation of construction professionals.

We are now officially an Industry Partner of the college, opening up a range of benefits for both students and our organisation as they embark on their journey into construction.

As part of the partnership, we will be attending a range of college career activities throughout the academic year while providing valuable insight to learners.

Our Director, Simon Girling, said: “It is great to announce this exciting new partnership with our local college.

“Many of our team members started their construction journeys through the college, so it is great to give back to such an important organisation in our region.

“We hope the expertise we can provide to students will help them develop into real leaders in their field – potentially with us here at SEH French or our sister companies.

“I look forward to seeing the partnership develop.”

A team from SEH French will also be on-hand to support carpentry students with the construction of a new garden room, which will provide a relaxing space for learners with anxiety.

Carpenters in our team will visit the college to deliver learning sessions, while getting stuck in with the students in getting the project over the line.

This isn’t the first time we have given back to our local community, with previous projects including our work with learners taking part in sessions organised by Lofty Heights CIC.

“Their valuable insight will give our learners real life experiences and contacts that will support their learning journey towards a successful career.

“SEH French have also committed to working with our carpentry students by creating a garden. This project will support our learners with gaining vital industry placement hours and experience.
