Hamptons Leisure Centre

The project involved a new Sports and Social building, incorporating a main sports hall/function space, squash courts, snooker room, dance studio and associated changing facilities alongside meeting rooms, bar and function rooms with all spaces offering versatility depending on the activity.

The scheme required robust and low maintenance operation offering accommodation to sports clubs and general public use. The scale and density of the building required a sympathetic approach within its location in a residential area, the facade materials were two toned against the skyline with timber cladding to naturally silver alongside full height glazing.

The scheme utilised various efficient systems for lighting, heating and ventilation which all helped towards the BREEAM Very Good achieved.
